Bill Self was one of America's most famous and richest basketball coaches. He was born on December 27, 1962, in the city of Okmulgee. As of December 11, 2023 Bill owns a fortune value of approximately $10 million. In 2013, Self was named as the Kansas coach for the most affluent freshman. He had been the Kansas coach from 2013. Self spent the next three years (1998-2000) at Tulsa and he posted the Tulsa record of 74-27. Self coached Tulsa's Golden Hurricane in consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (1999 and 2000). Self led the Golden Hurricane in 1999-2000 to their first Elite Eight. He also set a new school record with a record of winning 32 games.
